This washed coffee from Rwanda's Western Province comes from smallholder farmers in the Abadatezuka Cooperative who deliver their cherries to the Cyato Washing Station near Lake Kivu. The unique cup profile emerges from native honeybee pollination around Nyungwe forest, fertile black humus soil, and a cool lake-affected climate—all cultivated without synthetic inputs. Expect caramel and brown sugar sweetness with dried passion fruit and apricot notes, bright tangy acidity, and a clean fruity finish.
