Tessema Edima began working with coffee at an early age, helping his father and uncles pick cherries from small patches of land in Ethiopia's Reko Onacho area. His coffee is traditionally grown in a semi-wild state alongside other crops for local markets, then delivered to Testi Coffee who transfers it to nearby washing stations before export preparation in Addis Ababa. Through Trabocca's Operation Cherry Red programme, this beautifully refined small-holder coffee reaches international buyers who appreciate its authentic story and careful handling through every step of the supply chain.
