From the Lalesa washing station in Gedeb's highlands of southern Ethiopia, this washed coffee grows naturally under shade beneath large enset trees. Selected through a direct relationship with nearby smallholders, the beans are floated to remove defects then dried on African beds for 12-15 days. The cup reveals black tea and bergamot notes alongside peach and caramel sweetness, with juicy body and medium acidity.
