Producer Jhon Silva Farm Gate 4,65$/lb Region Callayuc, Cajamarca F.O.B 5,00$/lb Variety Caturra F.O.T 13,02€/kg Altitude 2108 masl Context Farm gate was the price paid for dried cherries upon delivery to the Churupampa Dry Mill. It's been a while since we had any coffee from Peru, so I was happy when Raw Material said they were importing a small amount through Red Beetle Lab (the project who are also responsible for all of our Mexican coffees) and asked if I would be interested. This natural lot from Jhon Silva is laid back, sweet and lightly fruity. A perfect breakfast coffee and wonderfully smooth on either filter or espresso. In the shop, the team are especially into it on espresso!
