Roaster notes

This coffee comes from the Gichuka Coffee Factory in Kiambu County, Kenya, operated by the Kimaratia Farmers' Cooperative Society. The region's bright red soils and high altitude of 1800-1850 meters create ideal conditions for slow cherry maturation. After pulping and overnight fermentation to break down mucilage, beans are washed through water channels and sun-dried on raised beds until reaching optimal moisture content.
