Kenya – Gakayu-Ini PB
Roaster notes
Gakuyuini Factory sits on the slopes of Mount Kenya at 1600-1800 meters above sea level, where volcanic soil and careful processing shape this washed coffee. Farmers hand-sort ripe cherries before disc pulping, followed by fermentation under closed shade for 16 to 24 hours, washing in specially designed channels, and sun drying on African beds for up to 21 days. The cup reveals caramelised peach and blackberry notes with a treacle sweetness.
