Ethiopia Gesha Village Surma Honey
Roaster notes
This exceptional lot comes from the Surma block of Gesha Village Coffee Estate in Ethiopia's Bench Maji region. It is a honey processed Geisha 1931 variety — the cherry skin is removed while mucilage remains on the bean before drying — producing a sweeter body and intensified aromatic clarity. The cup opens with an intense floral bouquet of honeysuckle and rose water lifted by bright lemon, then reveals red fruits like raspberry and blackcurrant rounded by red apple sweetness and a silky texture.
