Alo Coffee emerged from a dream and a leap into the unknown. Tamiru, a former university teacher and electrical engineer who worked in Ethiopia's coffee sector, witnessed firsthand how quality was often neglected while producers struggled for fair compensation. In 2021, his first entry from Alo village in Bensa won the Cup of Excellence Ethiopia, proving that passion and rigor forge excellence alongside tradition. This anaerobic natural process coffee showcases funky and fruity flavors, representing Sidama's potential to compete with the world's finest coffees.
