This coffee comes from Alo Coffee, a producer based in Ethiopia's Sidama region whose home village of Alo is located in Bensa. In 2021, Tamiru and his wife Messi won the Ethiopian Cup of Excellence with their very first entry—a lot carefully prepared in their native village—proving that passion and rigor forge excellence alongside tradition. The cup reflects its distinctive terroir, showcasing the potential of Sidama coffees to rival the finest offerings from around the world.
