This washed coffee from Nicaragua's Boaco region comes from the Tierra Nueva cooperative, where approximately 630 small farmers have supported one another since joining forces in 1997. Grown at elevations of 700-1200 meters using sustainable mixed-crop cultivation that protects soil health, this medium roast offers a nutty character with notes of dark chocolate and roasted almonds. The cooperative's commitment to fair trade practices helps secure farmers' livelihoods while their diversified agricultural approach reduces dependence on coffee exports alone.
