El Moral, Costa Rica

Roaster notes

This Costa Rican coffee from the Ramirez-Navarro family farm in Los Santos offers a dense, wine-like cup with flavors of black plum, red wine, and chocolate. Grown at 1750-2000 meters above sea level, this Caturra variety undergoes natural anaerobic processing—cherries rest without oxygen for four days before sun drying for approximately thirty days. The result is a rich, complex coffee that honors the legacy of Mr. Alexis Ramirez's lifelong dedication to agriculture and the land.
