Roaster notes

This washed coffee comes from over 600 Kikuyu farmers united in the Barichu Farmer's Cooperative Society, situated at the foot of Mount Kenya near Nyeri. The individual producers own such small plots that their holdings are measured by tree count rather than area, and the nearby Gatomboya River—meaning "swampy area" in Kikuyu—provides water for processing before drying. The cup delivers bright rhubarb acidity alongside dark cherry and gooseberry notes.
