This Gesha from Don Primitivo's Finca in Macora grows on steep rainforest-covered slopes in a hidden valley of Monzón, Peru—where sunlight reaches only between nine and three o'clock. His coffee was the first and only lot from Huánuco department to be represented at Cup of Excellence Peru 2020, marking his farm's role in the region's shift toward specialty production. The cup reveals red berries, honey, red tea, citrus blossoms, grape, and mango with a complex finish.
