From the mountainous Boconó valley in Trujillo, Venezuela, Víctor Montilla cultivates coffee on land inherited from his grandfather across several small haciendas including El Caotal. His family's four hectares are farmed without chemicals using meticulous hand-picking—some trees visited up to 35 times for optimal ripeness. This washed Bourbon delivers a perfectly balanced cup with aromatic notes of apple, brown sugar, mirabelle plums, lime, and milk chocolate.
