This Indonesian coffee from East Java is produced by Koperasi Surya Abada Kayumas, a cooperative of smallholder families cultivating exceptional coffee across approximately 400 hectares on the volcanic slopes of Mount Ijen. The cup reveals a fine and elegant profile with particular sweetness and aromatic richness, offering juicy body alongside complex notes of raisin, tangerine, and guava. This natural-processed lot reflects collective know-how deeply rooted in its territory, where producers practice integrated agriculture using their own livestock to create natural organic fertilizer.
