Alo Coffee was founded in Bensa, Sidama by Tamiru Tadesse and his wife Messi, driven by a belief that great coffee should never be overlooked. Their first lot from Alo Village won Ethiopia's Cup of Excellence in 2021, proving what passion and precision could achieve for an entire community. This Mosto Anaerobic Natural process involves handpicked ripe cherries sealed for 96 hours of anaerobic fermentation with mosto, then dried on African raised beds.
