Costa Rica — El Churro
Roaster notes
This Costa Rican coffee from Aquiares Estate uses a unique thermic fermentation where cherries are rolled in black plastic inside a solar dryer at 40-45°C, creating what's called "El Churro." The Centroamericano variety grown between 1100-1300 MASL delivers winey, tropical flavors with notes of pineapple, apple juice, and mulled wine—boozy yet clean and silky in the cup.
