Kenia Gicherori AA

Roaster notes

From the green hills of Embu comes this characterful Kenya from the Gicherori Factory, part of the Kibugu Farmers Cooperative Society where hundreds of small farmers bring their hand-picked cherries for traditional processing: dry fermentation, careful washing, and drying on raised African beds. The cup opens with caramel, blackcurrant, and a hint of dried tomatoes before revealing a fresh mix of grapefruit, green tea, and herbs, finishing with lemon juice, ginger snaps, and cocoa nibs.
