Bertin Nzeyimana cultivates this coffee in Rwanda’s Southern Province, where he has expanded his production since 1998 by focusing on quality and sharing knowledge with local farmers. The beans are washed at the nearby Nyarusiza station, resulting in a clean cup profile. Expect bright notes of blackcurrant and sweet jasmine tea, rounded out by a distinctive hint of tonka bean.
