Roaster notes

This young processing station has only existed since 2022 and is part of one of the most exciting coffee regions in southern Ethiopia. Surrounded by dense forests, the coffee cherries ripen at 158 small smallholder farms under native shade trees at 1800-2200 masl. The natural decaffeination with carbon dioxide takes place in Germany and preserves the natural character of West Guji. The slightly lighter roast shines especially as filter coffee with the typical clarity of Ethiopian coffees, offering notes of vanilla, milk chocolate, blackberry, and black tea.
