This single-origin coffee comes from Nzara and Yambio County in South Sudan—a country that only began exporting coffee for the first time in 2015, as new initiatives rebuild the industry with smallholder farmers after years of conflict. Processed using anaerobic honey methods at 600 meters altitude, this Excelsa varietal offers a distinctive cup characterized by notes of cereal, malt, and burnt sugar that reflect both its unique terroir and careful handling.
