Finca Telia – Herbazú comes from the Barrantes family farm, where José Antonio 'Toño' Barrantes Zuñiga was recognized as a 'Legend of Excellence' by the Alliance of Coffee Excellence for his multiple Cup of Excellence winning entries. This special designation was awarded to only six farmers worldwide in recognition of the family's achievements since leading the micro-mill revolution and their work in coffee education, environment, and local industry.
