This honey-processed coffee from Rwanda's Northern Gakenke region comes from Hingakawa Women, a women-led initiative within the Abakundakawa Cooperative where women handle every step from planting through quality control. Handpicked at 1700–1900 meters altitude and grown as Bourbon variety, this lot delivers ripe red berries reminiscent of raspberries or blackberries alongside caramel sweetness, berry jam, floral notes, roasted nuts, and brown sugar. The cooperative's work empowers rural women while supporting education for their children and preserving the surrounding hillsides.
