Roaster notes
This washed coffee comes from Finca Kilimanjaro in Santa Ana, El Salvador, where fifth-generation farmer Aida Batlle cultivates Kenya SL-28, SL 34, and Bourbon varieties at elevations of 1580-1720 meters. The cherries are hand-picked and undergo a washed process with 72 hours of fermentation before shade drying on African drying beds. Aida is the first woman to win the Cup of Excellence in 2003 with coffee from this farm, recognized for her dedication to specialty cultivation and elevating El Salvador's coffee reputation.
