Ashenafi Getaneh has been crafting washed coffees at his washing station in Aricha and Ela Telicha, Ethiopia since 2005. His process involves careful harvesting, fermenting pulped cherries for 48 hours with water, thorough washing, drying on African raised beds, and meticulous hand-sorting before warehousing.
