Karamo Mimosa comes from Gara Agena Washing Station, a privately-owned facility nestled at 2,300 meters above sea level in Ethiopia's Sidama zone. The station sits on slopes surrounding the Geta River, where its U-shaped course creates a cool micro-climate that slows drying and extends ripening time for the small cherries harvested from tiny organic plots averaging just one hectare. Approximately 600 independent outgrowers deliver only ripe red fruit to this premium facility, ensuring exceptional quality through meticulous selection standards.
