This Costa Rican coffee comes from Finca Las Lajas, grown at 1300-1500 meters altitude. After careful hand-picking, the cherries are slowly dried with their fruit flesh intact in the shade on African beds using a Black Honey process. This unique method imparts distinctive notes of blackcurrant and grapes, creating an intriguing red wine-like mouthfeel that sets this single-origin coffee apart.
