Gakuyu-ini Washed Kenya
Roaster notes
Sourced from the Thirikwa Farmers Cooperative in Kenya’s Kirinyaga region, this washed coffee is processed at the Gakuyu-ini factory on the slopes of Mount Kenya. The cooperative comprises around 1,600 members who hand-sort cherries before they are fermented and dried on African beds for three weeks. This meticulous care yields a vibrant cup characterized by distinct notes of rhubarb, blackcurrant, and yellow plum.
