Guatemala San Marcos

Roaster notes

This washed Arabica from Guatemala's San Marcos region comes from small farmers in the COIPEC cooperative, whose plantations stretch along narrow valley slopes between hills where the Rio Naranjo watershed flows toward the Pacific Ocean. A blend of Bourbon and Caturra varieties grown at high altitude as Strictly High Grown coffee, it offers a soft to medium body with chocolatey flavors complemented by delicate floral notes. The cooperative's diverse farming practices—growing avocados, bananas, and other crops alongside coffee—reflect their commitment to sustainable agriculture and ecological diversity in this mountainous region.
