Mexico El Astal

Roaster notes

This coffee comes from the La Yerba community in Tepic, Mexico, a small settlement on the northern slopes of the San Juan volcano. Originally named El Astal before relocating in 1969 to become an Ejido, this region's economy depends on annual harvests of avocados and coffee grown by smallholder farmers. The natural-processed beans offer a cup with notes of chocolate, almond, and stone fruits.
