Roaster notes

LAS NUBES is our first direct trade coffee, sourced from Finca LAS NUBES in Costa Rica's Tarrazú region at approximately 1,900 meters elevation. This washed Caturra has been cultivated by Roberto Mata for nearly five decades, with a partnership spanning over fifteen years that emphasizes regenerative farming practices and careful hand processing on the four-hectare farm. The cup delivers balanced medium acidity with winey character, nutty sweetness, and a round body finishing with notes of dried red grape, light nougat, and Rooibos—stable and clear even at higher extraction levels.
