Kenia "Kiamambara"
Roaster notes
This Arabica from the SL 28, SL 34 and Ruiru 11 varieties comes from the Kiamabara Wet Mill of the Mugaga Cooperative, located in Nyeri County near Mount Kenya. It is grown on deep volcanic soils at an altitude of 1,600 to 1,900m and is washed processed. The 'Kiamambara' is a directly traded 'project coffee' from KEDOVO, a non-profit association that supports various projects locally in Kenya for economic and agricultural development. In addition to education, health and environmental projects, supporting an ecologically and economically sustainable coffee cultivation is an ongoing project.
