From the Shakisso woreda in Ethiopia's Guji Zone, this coffee comes from smallholder farms around Dambi Uddo at elevations reaching 2,100 metres. The lot is composed of local landraces including Kurume and Wolisho alongside JARC selections—varieties developed by the Jimma Agricultural Research Centre for disease resistance and cup quality. Grown in nutrient-rich soils under native shade trees with minimal synthetic inputs, these heirloom varieties create a complex profile shaped by Ethiopia's diverse coffee heritage.
