Gesha Village, located in Ethiopia's Bench Maji region, preserves the origins of the legendary Gesha variety through meticulous cultivation and environmental conservation. This washed coffee from the Surma block features the Gesha 1931 selection—wild populations collected near Gori Gesha forest that trace back to the historic 1931 expedition. Grown between 1900 and 2100 meters, these coffees are distinguished by their purity, elegance, and remarkable aromatic complexity, offering a direct connection to the Ethiopian roots where Gesha's story began.
