Gesha Village - Lot 26/126 Oma Washed
Roaster notes
This Gesha Village coffee from Ethiopia's Bench Maji region comes from the Oma block at 1931-2040 meters altitude. The estate was established by Rachel Samuel and Adam Overton in 2007 after studying wild coffee populations near Gori Gesha forest, combining cultivation with environmental conservation. This Gesha 1931 selection traces to wild coffees collected during the historic 1931 expedition that brought Gesha to Panama. The washed process includes dry fermentation followed by careful shade-drying and a two-month rest before milling.
