This coffee comes from the green highlands of El Salvador, where farmers of Cooperativa Los Ausoles cultivate their beans with great care on fertile volcanic soil at altitudes between 1,200 and 1,700 meters. The cherries ripen slowly in their own time, resulting in a full-bodied cup that is beautifully balanced with soft notes of milk chocolate, honey, and caramel. With mild acidity and a fine, sweet aftertaste, this accessible coffee showcases the patience and craftsmanship of small-scale Salvadoran producers working together through their cooperative.
