Kenya - Mutwewathi AA Washed
Roaster notes
This coffee comes from Mutwewathi station on the eastern slopes of Kenya's Aberdare Mountains, where cool misty mornings and warm dry afternoons create ideal conditions for slow ripening. Managed by New Gikaru Farmers Cooperative Society supporting approximately 750 local farmers, this washed AA lot features varieties SL28, SL34, Batian, and Ruiru 11. The cup delivers a layered profile with delicate jammy sweetness reminiscent of blackberries, supported by complex spicy notes, full body, and vibrant berry acidity.
