This Ethiopia Guji G1 washed organic coffee comes from Suke Quto Farm, a project founded by Tesfaye Bekele that combines reforestation with coffee cultivation following devastating bushfires in the 1990s. Working with approximately 287 contract farmers, the farm operates two farms and a washing station where cherries are depulped, fermented for up to 48 hours, and gently dried on raised beds. The semi-forest farm utilizes shade trees and natural mulch for sustainable fertilization while supporting local communities through schools and stable incomes.
