Edubino Erazo has dedicated the past six years to organic coffee cultivation on his family farm in Argelia, Cauca—transitioning after health issues from chemical exposure while working coca. His coffee grows interplanted with banana, guamo, and orange trees alongside lemongrass, then is hand-selected every eight days during harvest, pulped same-day, fermented 12-15 hours, and dried in a parabolic drier for 8-10 days. Through the ASOPROA growers' group and Cosurca cooperative, Edubino works to improve both coffee quality and community resilience in post-conflict Cauca.
