This is one of Rwanda’s most fertile and tropical regions. A mix of black humus and sandy soils, a cool lake-affected climate, and extreme elevations have allowed small produc ers here to produce specialty coffee at a scale Rwanda has rarely seen. What makes this coffee particularly special is its terroir in the fullest sense. Native honeybees from the Nyungwe Forest play a role in pollination, contributing to the unique character of the cup. The farmers use no synthetic inputs ie. no artificial fertilizers, no pesticides, letting the land do its work. This coffee was processed as a honey anaerobic. Following collection and sorting, the cherries were depulped and fermentation was cut short, leaving mucilage intact on the seeds. They were then placed in sealed containers for an anaerobic fermentation phase before drying. The result is a cup with elevated fruit intensity and acidity, with a slight increase in the body and the distinct flavor profile that an aerobic fermentation tends to produce.","RW","Cyato Washing Station",[],"honey",[40],"bourbon",2200,"medium",true,"SEK","https://cafepascal.se/collections/all/abadatezuka-rwanda-1","2026-08-11T14:52:01.488661+00:00",[],"regular",[
[52,55,58,60,62,65,67
5.5,"t3_blackberry
6.5,"t3_honey
t2_tropical
t1_earthy
7,"t3_cherry
t1_fruity
t1_bright
"0c7cc558-3b8b-5c21-8c34-6df612bd9cf4","af0715b5-02f3-4a59-8fb2-fa9b16b24ede","arsosala-ethiopia","Arsosala -Ethiopia","This washed Ethiopian coffee from the Guji zone offers delicate aromas of apple blossom and jasmine with a dry pear finish. This river flows from the glacial caps of the Upper Rwenzori Mountains all the way to Lake George. Along its path, it winds through fertile farmland on the east-facing-slopes of the Rwenzori Mountain Range, past Kasese Station, and into Lake George and the broader African Great Lakes system Cherries are delivered to the station daily, often via steep, muddy dirt roads. Upon arrival, they are floated and meticulously hand-sorted by trained staff before being laid on raised beds to dry. For the production of these Naturals, they employed around 90 seasonal workers at the drying tables. These workers fo cus almost exclusively on caring for the drying cherries. They frequently turn and rake the cherries to promote even drying and visually inspect them to remove any damaged or defective beans. They also monitor weather conditions closely to protect the cherries from rain, excess moisture, and intense sunlight. Drying typically takes between 18 and 24 days, depending on the environmental conditions.",[],[],"https://cafepascal.se/collections/coffee/lunar-coffee","2026-07-02T09:47:01.105844+00:00","2026-08-14T07:57:01.436812+00:00",[],[
[346,347,348
"a9173133-c158-5fc9-afa7-dd898b778381","1e36b738-292b-4ee2-a38e-6e178521fe9e","ribang-gayo-coop-indonesia","Ribang Gayo Coop Indonesia","This naturally processed coffee from North Sumatra offers bright flavors of candied orange, mango, and cotton candy on the palate.
