This auction lot comes from Finca Sophia, a high-altitude farm nestled in the mountains near Nueva Suiza village in Volcán, Panama. Founded in 2008 by Willem Boot alongside Helen Russell and David Pohl, this exceptional estate is dedicated to Geisha excellence and sits adjacent to La Amistad International Park. Under Kelly Hartmann's direction, the farm has integrated extensive buffer zones for biodiversity, allowing local wildlife and flora to coexist naturally with the coffee trees while maintaining rigorous standards that have earned regular recognition at the Best of Panama competition.
