This organic coffee comes from the El Huaco and La Huaca communities in Peru's Cajamarca region, where farmers continued cultivating traditional varieties that survived the 2012-2013 Roya coffee rust plague rather than switching to resistant cultivars. These resilient trees deliver a smooth cup brimming with sweet notes of chocolate and hazelnut, characteristic of Central and South American coffees.
