Finca La Soledad

Roaster notes

La Soledad is one of a group of farms from which we have bought coffee with the help of the Specialty division of the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia (FNC). This is a new project for us, and we’re thrilled to have the coffees on our counter. La Soledad has been in Mario Fernando Gómez’s family since 1960. The farm’s high altitude of 1700m and location in Huila make it ideal for producing great quality coffee, and this has been Mario’s focus since running the farm. The coffee has a long fermentation time of 26 hours, this helps establish its classical Huila acidity and full fruit flavours.
