Brazil, Chapadão de Ferro
Roaster notes
This Red Catuai from Fazenda Chapadão in Pratinha, Minas Gerais is processed using an experimental anaerobic fermentation method that brings out unexpected fruitiness for a Brazilian coffee. Grown at elevations between 1,100 and 1,250 meters above sea level on the Alvarenga Brothers' estate, this lot delivers bright notes of papaya and raspberry alongside smooth milk chocolate undertones. The unique volcanic microregion's mineral-rich soil contributes to the coffee's vibrant character and complex flavor profile.
