This natural-processed coffee from the Sukarame washing station in Aceh, Sumatra represents a departure from traditional Indonesian wet-hulling methods. Grown at 1100-1500 meters by 145 smallholder farmers, this lot offers ripe tropical fruit flavors including mango and red berries alongside dark chocolate notes, with a heavy body and slightly funky character. The coffee supports the Orang Utan Coffee Project's mission to protect Sumatra's rainforest ecosystem while building agricultural capacity among local farming communities.
