Guatemala Sendero
Roaster notes
In the rugged hills of Concepción Huista, Huehuetenango, the El Sendero Cooperative brings together small coffee farmers to produce exceptional coffee. These tiny farms, averaging just 3 hectares, are situated between 1500 and 1900 meters above sea level. Pablo, once a coffee farmer himself, started the cooperative to ensure fair compensation and support for local growers. Using traditional and organic methods, the farmers recycle coffee pulp into fertilizer and treat water sustainably. Each coffee cherry is hand-picked by the farmers and their families, ensuring only the best beans are selected.
