This washed arabica from Indonesia arrives early in the harvest season, ready for export by November when most Southeast Asian coffies are still being harvested. The beans come from Blawan, one of several large state-owned estates on Java's Iljen Plateau in the Eastern mountain region, where fertile volcanic soil nurtures the coffee plants. This single-origin offering represents the first arrivals of the new harvest year from this renowned Indonesian growing area.
