Roaster notes

This specialty coffee is a Monsooned Malabar, a unique product produced only in India where the name refers to both a processing style and place derived from exposure to the monsoon winds of the Malabar coast. Whole unwashed coffee is spread on warehouse floors and raked for dampness exposure, then packed loose in gunny bags stacked with space between rows for continuous interplay of monsoon winds through the stacked bags.
