Roaster notes

This Kenya Karatu AB is produced by numerous smallholder farmers at the Karatu Coffee Factory, part of the Gitwe Farmers Cooperative Society. The highlands' red volcanic soil, well-distributed rainfall, and moderate temperatures create the distinctive conditions that define Kenyan coffee's character. Most farmers grow SL28 and SL34 varieties alongside tea, maize, and legumes for local markets, with cooperative training focused on delivering uniform ripe cherries and sustainable farming practices.
