This Kenyan peaberry from Kirinyaga delivers a full-bodied cup with plenty of wild berries, white chocolate and cacao notes, finished by a rich long after-taste. The cherries are grown by smallholder farmers around the Baragwi Cooperative Society stations in areas blessed with rich volcanic soil and sandy soil. Harvested during October to December following flowering in February and April, this washed coffee showcases the distinctive character of Kirinyaga's high-altitude growing region at 1800m.
